Just for You

Hello there! I hope your start of 2013 has been great, ours has, busy but great.  Today's card is my goddess card for this week's Stampin' Royalty challenge.  The challenge this week is a photo challenge, take a look, grab your supplies and head on over to Stampin' Royalty to link up your creation.

I love this inspiration picture, it looks like a nursery to me, such cheerful colors.  This picture brought to mind the new sale-a-bration free Sycamore Street DSP.  Hang in there, this paper will be available free to you starting January 22-March 22 with a $50 purchase.

A close up look at the beautiful paper.  Tangerine tango scallop ribbon and pool party seam binding ribbon match perfectly.

Some fun sewing.

Lots of Tags sizzlits made this beautiful oval.  The Friendship Preserves stamp set and matching windows collection framelits are still available.  The Bitty Banners stamp set and matching bitty banners framelits made the alternative sentiment.  The chevron embossing folder adds some texture, and a large basic pearl finishes it off.

This card was based on this fabulous layout.  I knew right away that this layout would showcase this great new Sycamore Street DSP to it's advantage.

We have been keeping busy so far this new year.  Tate started preschool on Tuesday.  I had been resistant about enrolling him, but Mackie and Chris finally talked me into it.  I knew that Tate was ready, but I was not.  Tate is my constant companion and I knew that I would miss him way too much.  I did find a preschool that I love, so that really helps alleviate some of my distress.  He had a great first day and I only cried a little, ok a lot, but he had a ton of fun.

This is Tate at his cubby (no, that is NOT his jacket, lol) and riding to school in Daddy's truck.  He had a great time and is ready to go back.  Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!
