Floral Birthday

The start of November means the start of a new Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge! It's a beautiful and classy color combination that you won't want to miss!  Hop over to Pals Paper Arts on Thursday, November 1st to link up your creation!

This is a great color combo, a great tip for color challenges is to head straight to the SU catalog and check out pages 163-165 and pick which designer series paper matches the challenge colors, this is a great starting point.  In this case, the Fan Fair DSP has all three of the challenge colors, so it was perfect for this challenge.

The Fan Fair DSP has two full pages of these great tags and designs, you will need to carefully cut to maximize all of the patterns.  This one had the 3, but I added a flower from the stippled blossoms stamp set to fill my corner in.  The corners were rounded with the corner rounder punch to match the original design of the tag.

This is a great rolled flower on top of a triple bow.  The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the From My Heart stamp set that was stamped twice and cut with the bitty banners framelits, the crumb cake doily is cut from the delicate doilies sizzlits and a finishing touches edgelit just adds a great element.

We had a wonderful but very busy Halloween, I hope a good time was had by all.  Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!

So pretty! I've always had a heart for pink, love it with your creamy shades & gorgeous bow. If that's seam binding, I don't know how you get the job done without wrinkling it!
