Thanks a Bunch

Hello there!  Who's ready for our Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge?  We're bringing out these spooky colors on Thursday, September 6th. Get your craft on and get ready to join us!
As a reminder, when linking up your PPA creation, please make sure you are adding a direct link to your card. This ensures that our judging panel gets to see your card for the challenge and you have a chance to be an Artist Pick!

Since my last PPA card was a Halloween card, I thought that I would make a traditional Thank You card instead.  This Friendship Preserves Bundle has just been begging for me to use it, and since the stamp has grapes and leaves, that took care of my lucky limeade and elegant eggplant, a little pumpkin pie rounds out my required colors.

I love how you can mix and match our products, here is some DSP from two different packs, summer smooches DSP and polka dot parade DSP, they both coordinate great.  A little snippet of elegant eggplant dotted scallop ribbon adds another layer of texture.

I don't know the "technical" name of this sort of card, about a half inch was cut off the outside edge with the large scallop edgelit, and embossed with the delicate designs embossing folder.  The whisper white base on the inside received the same treatment and shows on the front when the card is closed.

I always finish the inside with my "scraps" from the front, it is a great time to do it when you have all of the supplies still out, and I always have bits and pieces left over.  Check out that sweet new punch and stamp combo.  It is the Mixed Medley stamp set with matching 1 1/4 scallop circle punch.  It is punched out for added effect.

Here are some pictures of my little photo bomber.  Every time I get the camera out to take card pictures, he comes over and wants me to take pictures of him making funny faces.  He also wants to look at them NOW, so I have to scroll through the pictures for him.  Tate is also a little streaker, so here he is in just his pull-up diaper.  I know, I know, he is way to skinny, but the boy just does NOT want to eat.

That is all the tricks that I have up my sleeve today, I really enjoyed creating this card, I really hope you are inspired to create your own card using these great colors. Enjoy!
