Back to School Fun

Hello there!  Today's post is my Stampin' Royalty challenge for this week.  The challenge is anything Back to School.  So head on over to Stampin' Royalty and show us what you have come up with!

Mackie likes to customize her binders for school, click HERE to see her binder's from last year.  This year, we decided to utilize the new MDS2 to make actual 12 x 12 pages that we then had SU print out. 

Isn't this a fun idea?  Her binders this year are plain black and they have the clear pocket on the front.  When we receive these pages, we will trim just a bit of the sides and slide them in.  I opted for the heavy duty paper so they would stand up to all of the wear and tear of the year.

Here is the second one that we did.  Mackie wanted to keep them simple, so I resisted adding too many elements.

I did use the new recolor tool to recolor the howlstooth & scaringbone paper that is used in both pages.  I really love the new added features that MDS2 offers.
