2012 Artisan Award Finalist

The title says it all!  I was notified on Thursday night that I made the top 20 finalists for the 2012 Artisan Awards design team.  I have to say, that I told the nice lady from Stampin' Up (I don't even remember her name) that I needed a moment to sit down.  It is an amazing feeling to realize that your work is admired by such a great company.

This picture was on the Stampin' Up! Facebook page last Friday, I couldn't believe that I saw my entries in the picture.  I have drawn an arrow on the picture, but it is so itty bitty that it is hard to see.  All of the top 20 finalists will have their work on display at the annual convention in July that takes place in Salt Lake City.   To be able to attend this convention is a great learning opportunity, and one that I will cherish for years to come.

Stampin' Up! will announce the ten winners on awards night, Thursday, July 19.  I am hopeful that I will be one of the ten, but if not, I count myself blessed just to be chosen as a finalist.  It's going to be an amazing time.
