Me a Goddess? What?

Hello all!  I have some very cool news to share with you today, I was asked to be a Goddess!  Really?!  Yes, I was invited to join the Stampin Royalty Design Team, otherwise known as Goddesses.  I am very excited to be among a very talented team.  I was able to just squeak my first card in, here it is, take a look.

Today's card is a sketch challenge, it is a great sketch and inspired me to pull together this card.  Here is the sketch:

The beautiful Attic Boutique DSP was the basis for my card.  I love all of the colors in this suite, it is just so pretty.  I couldn't resist layering a bunch of different patterns, I chose three of them.  The eyelet border makes a great base from the pool party cardstock.

The paper doily large sizzlits die was cut from some soft suede textured cardstock.  This doily is large, so large in fact that I snipped the outer ring off so it would fit better.  A pool party large circle punch was put behind the doily to bring attention to the beautiful center.  A large basic pearl fits the center perfectly.

Seam binding ribbon!!  I love it, look how you can see a bit of the background behind the pool party ribbon, such a delicate fine ribbon.  So fine, that you can easily make a ribbon rosette out of the very vanilla ribbon.  A pool party brad matches perfectly.  The key from the SAB set Elementary Elegance was stamped in pool party and punched with the jewelry punch and attached with early espresso bakers twine just behind the rosette.  You're a Gem stamp set provided the key to my heart stamp.

So how did I do?  Drop me a line and let me know!  I love to read your comments, and as long as your email is there, I will write you back.  Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!

Stamps:  You're a Gem, Elementary Elegance
Paper:  Attic Boutique, pool party, soft suede
Ink:  Pool Party, soft suede
Tools:  Big Shot, paper doily die, seam binding ribbon, eyelet border punch, jewelry tag, bakers twine, designer printed brads, large basic pearls, circle punch
