PPA 107 Sketch Challenge
Today's PPA challenge card is a sketch and I just squeaked it in. I had another post for today scheduled, but I am waiting to hear back from Stampin' Up! to see if I can give you a sneak peak at a stamp set that is going to be in the Occasions Mini Catalog, yes, the Occasions catalog that comes out in January, it is huge if I am allowed to show you!
When I saw the sketch, I knew that the new set Button Buddies would work great, and since today for the first time, I could smell fall coming, it is hard to describe, but you can tell finally that it is on it's way. The pumpkin buttons are from the Rich Regals button pack. The DSP is Well Worn, and I just knew that it would fit this card. The base is cajun craze, and crumb cake was punched with the curly label punch. Cherry Cobbler was layered behind the curly label punch.
A piece of crumb cake seam binding ribbon was pulled and layered just under the button layers, I felt that the card needed a bit of softness, and even though this card has a masculine feel to it, it works well.
The sentiment is from Just Believe, and I felt that when this card is given, I could make into any type of card that I need. It is stamped in early espresso, and simply punched out with the modern label punch. All in all a simple card to make, but an has an elegant finished look.
Since I have changed the location of my craft room, I am still trying to get good pictures. I am not happy on how the pictures have turned out. My husband, Chris is going to install a photobox shortly, so in the meantime, please bear with me. Please check back with me for my next post that has more Regional info. I hope you were inspired, enjoy.
